About us
MeC is a consulting company that specializes in Cost analysis.
Founded in 2006 in Turin and now operating in the European and American markets to collaborate with OEMs and TIERs of all over the world.
We started in the automotive sector, which enabled us to acquire great expertise in the field of costs, developing the main Cost Models and Tools used in our analyses.
As we increased our partnerships and collaborations with the main manufacturers in the industry, we realized the need to expand our consultancy services and systematically approach other activities.
We then began to specialize in Cost Management throughout the life cycle of a vehicle, starting from the concept phase up to the end of the life cycle, at the level of functional areas and of the entire vehicle.
Also, offering the same type of services, we began to operate in the agriculture industry and to specialize in agricultural machinery and medium and large commercial vehicles.
As we worked more and more closely with clients and provided them with resources at their production plants, we realized the need to improve by studying competitors.
Our Cost Competitive Benchmarking service became a winning weapon for our partners, enabling them to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their products in comparison with the technical and economic analyses of competitors’ products.
In 2012, following market trends and client requests, we opened our first office in Modena, which enabled us to support local manufacturers.
In 2013, we also landed in America, in Detroit, following the merger of the FCA group.
Over the years, we have extended our horizons and applied the methodology we developed to new areas, specializing in the domestic appliances and motorcycle sectors, as well as providing cost estimation services in new and emerging sectors such as aerospace, medical, energy, and infrastructure.
The overlap of expertise acquired in various different industries enables us to blend methods and knowledge and to respond to the different needs with new solutions and opportunities.
